Detailing and Winter Car Care Demo - Nov 14, 2021
From George Larson: The weather cooperated and we had a dry, cool day for working outdoors and in the garage!
The MBCA Car Care event was a great success and I believe that everyone learned from the professional demonstrations. I will issue pictures of the RX-7 rock chips finishing when Neil comes back to finish. Many thanks to Neil for attentive answers to all of our questions and freely providing his expertise for doing corrections and care in preparation for winter. Plus he delivered Griot’s products to those in need at the event!
Lunch at GameTime hit the spot and provided a chance for us to meet and talk with each other. I really enjoyed that and look forward to another session at the next event.
Because so few returned after lunch, taxi rides were much longer and included some local, very twisty roads in the AMG GT S, SLR, and GLC 43 AMG Coupe, and Smart fortwo electric. I believe that all passengers enjoyed the experience without undue stress, even at the speeds we achieved. Besides, it got the cars out of the garage and warmed/lubricated properly.
