Donuts and Daisies Drive - April 10, 2021
A scenic, spring drive through the Willamette Valley. This was a two-part drive.
The first (AM) drive took us from Krispy Kreme in the Clackamas area through some of the Cascade foothills, and ended at Willamette Valley Pie Company, NE Salem, where we enjoyed lunch and pastries. Along the way, we will crossed two covered bridges, stopped in the beautiful Molalla River Recreation Area, and drove some of the twistiest, turniest roads the club has traveled in some time.
The second (PM) drive started where the first drive ended and took us through some less twisty, turny Willamette Valley farmland, across the Buena Vista ferry, and touched a few Coastal Range foothills before ending at Avery Park in Corvallis.
